Welcome to my WATERCOLOR world!

The Watercolor Technique

THE WATERCOLOR TECHNIQUE is like a capricious Lady. Sometimes rebellious, wild and deceptive. Sometimes restrained and well-mannered. Sometimes vulnerable and melancholic. Unpredictable, unbridled, but also modest, gentle, and ethereal.

She is picky - she loves only quality paper, natural brushes, first-class pigments and clean water.

She expects to be treated with love, patience and respect. You probably noticed that with these words, I am trying to clumsily confess my love to her. And all this because I have reached the level of understanding of this material and understood what it means to me.

Seascape & Landscape

Watercolor landscapes that create a sense of peace and harmony, an image of closeness and a return to nature.
Sunlit sunrises, colorful sunsets, and characteristic aspects of the beauty of the sea, forests, and mountains across the different seasons.

Flowers & Still Life

Flowers are a universal symbol of beauty and perfection, of love and affection. A wonderful gift that expresses attention and an ideal décor for any home. The still life reveals the diversity of material objects and their textures, as well as their light and color effects. This genre allows me to express myself creatively, to play with composition and light. To present objects in a way that captures the viewer’s interest with their hidden, intricate story, and to provoke different reflections and associations.

Portrait & Human Figure

While in the past portrait paintings primarily immortalized aristocrats and influential figures, today people increasingly commission family or self-portraits that become cherished memories.

In the watercolor portraits I create, I strive to capture not only the facial expression but also the emotional state — to convey both the outward likeness of the model and the inner mood and character.

Animals & Birds

Animalism is a genre in visual art whose main subjects are animals, birds, fish, and insects. Here you will find watercolor-painted animals as individual images, along with my explorations in this direction. Not only in a descriptive or observational sense, but also as a way to express certain human emotions, psychological states, or character traits through the image of the animal.

Folklore

Watercolors on the theme of folklore — a subject that draws my attention with its blend of delicate refinement, gentle appearance, and unwavering strength.

The beauty of the Bulgarian traditional costume is more than an outward look — it is a kind of magic that carries the rich heritage of the ancient Bulgarian people, comes from the soul, and makes it truly unique.

Other

Various watercolor scenes filled with creativity, freedom of expression, and imagination. Paintings that not only decorate the interior but also enrich the home with inspiring stories and messages.
