Stela Toncheva lives in the city of Burgas.

For many years, she worked as a graphic designer at various advertising agencies, studios, and print publications, where she was involved in design, prepress, printing, and packaging.

Throughout her creative journey, she has experimented with different techniques — graphics, acrylics, stained glass, batik, and scrapbooking.

In 2018, she discovered the magic of watercolor. She fell in love with the delicacy and lightness of the medium, which allows her to recreate the world with elegant colors, transparency, and subtle shades.
The themes in her works include portraits, landscapes, still lifes, and flowers.

She has participated in numerous exhibitions, earning recognition from admirers of watercolor art.

She is a member of IWS Bulgaria, part of IWS Globe — the International Watercolor Society.
Her paintings can be found in private collections in Bulgaria and abroad.
