How the Magic Happens

ART THROUGH MY EYES

My process

Sometimes a painting comes to life effortlessly. It appears to take you by the hand and place you in front of the easel.

Nothing stands in its way - not the darkness in the studio, not a flaw in the paper, not even the unusually large size of the canvas. It emerges quickly and confidently. With a sweep of the brush.

Then you look at it and think: “How did I paint this? Will I be able to do it again?”

Dissatisfaction with one’s work is a natural state for an artist. It is the path to growth and mastery. An artist is never 100% satisfied with their work, because they always sense the potential to improve. "What could I have done to make it even better?"

No one understands better than the artist how successful a painting truly is. Only they carry within themselves the image they wished to bring to life, and only they understand how well they have succeeded.

It is this awareness that drives the artist to explore different variations in sketches, to redraw fragments again and again, or to start it all over from scratch.

An artist’s studio is more than just a room filled with paints and brushes—it is a space where ideas are born, where dreams come to life, and where the boldest creative visions take shape. It’s a place where thoughts and emotions can be expressed freely through art, without boundaries or limitations.

Here, every stroke or splash of paint tells a story, reflecting the creator's inner world. The studio is not just a workplace; it is a constant source of inspiration. Here, I create a space filled with my favorite works of art, sketches, photographs and books.  All of this becomes part of my creative process.

The muse may not come if you take no steps to meet her - if you do not invite her, if you do not wait for her.
